Crafting for my Little.

Hey guys, next term I'll be taking a little! Wooo! Anyway, I'm on Christmas break and want to start crafting for her, fun unique things I can make. I'm a VERY crafty person, and have a decent amount of things planned, but are there any fun things your Big made for you or you made for your little that you loved?

My big made these for me.

The felt anchor is glued to posterboard (actually, probably a manilla folder).

The wood anchor is individual pieces, and is about the size of a business card.

Or how about these in sorority colors? Or these?

how about a no-sew fleece blanket in your sorority colors? i found directions on how to make one here:

the photo is not the greatest, but the directions were good. you might even find fleece that has your symbols or mascot on it.

I already have a fleece blanket for my little! Haha, It has the letters on it and everything (Sewing fleece, is a pain in the ass.), I got a little out of control. I agree it's a wonderful idea! A girl in my Pledge Class got one from her Big and I vowed to do the same.

But thank you guys for the idea!

Design a pillow with the letters on one side and your symbol on the other.

Scrapbook/mini album ready for her to put photos of the two of you into.

Picture frames.

Nice decorated box (wood or ceramic) for her to put her badge in when she gets initiated.

Wall hanging.

Apron in sorority colors.

Desk accessories.

My chapter does hanging letters. Cut out letters from cardboard (they turn out nicer if you have double-sided ones, so two sets of letters), add some sort of padding/stuffing, cover that with fabric with your little's favorite fabric, and run ribbon between the two sets of letters so they can hang.
Also, as a new member, she'll probably get a lot of gifts and a nicely decorated container for storage would be wonderful.

When I was a new member last semester, one of the gifts that we received from our Bigs were decorated clipboards! Some were painted, had monograms, or even had ribbons or other glittery designs. I use mine all the time.
