Bro. Walter Rivera sworn in as judge in Westchester County, NY.
 

On 22 December, Bro. Walter Rivera, partner in the law firm of Rivera & Colon, LLP, located in the financial district of New York City, was sworn in as a Town Justice in Greenburgh, NY (Westchester County). A graduate of Columbia Univ., where he pledged Omicron Chapter in the '70s and the UPenn School of Law, he is a member of Beta Alpha Alpha graduate chapter of White Plains, New York.

He was sworn in by the Hon. Bro. Theodore "Ted" Jones, Justice of the NY Court of Appeals, the highest court in New York State (Gamma Epsilon Chapter, Hampton Univ. and also a member of Beta Alpha Alpha Chapter). In attendance were numerous Brothers of Beta Alpha Alpha Chapter, including the immediate past Basileus (President), the Hon. Bruce Tolbert, a Justice of the New York State Supreme Court, Ninth Judicial District and Bro. Kevin Woodhouse, the Corridor 5 Representative of the 2nd District of Omega Psi Phi. We salute Bro. Rivera as he continues to serve his community and his profession.
