What makes you nervous on a first date?

And have you ever been on a bad blind date? What happened? ctfu!

I really haven't had any bad blind dates based on physical attraction, but they were bad as in fucked up in the head LOL. Telling me one thing online, but being someone different in person. But that's the risk of online dating, though. One girl told me that she was all into witchcraft. On the date she proceeded to tell me all about it, too. I cut that date short and took her home. I told her that I was going to have to skip out on the second half of the date because I had to get up for work, and during that time I was laid off from work LOL.

I usually don't get that nervous on a first date. The only thing that I worry about is if I'm going to be able to give her a good time by entertaining her. Other than that, I'm good at holding a good conversation because people generally like to talk about themselves, so putting the conversation in her court isn't hard to do. I'm not the best looking dude, but I can hold a really good conversation. The females I've gone out with have always liked that about me.

Being able to balance making a good first impression with just being myself.

I had to past tense that because I do not miss the days of dating and first dates. LOL.

Doc, I feel you on this. I'm surprised you haven't had any blind dates, though. I don't know anybody who hasn't at least been on one.

I've never been on ANY blind date. Does this still really happen? The only thing I can think of is a friend of mine just broke up with her 3 year boyfriend and I told her to come out to a club with a big group (20+) people and that one of the guys was cute/cool and she might like him.
