This is disgusting. I want to vomit. What were they thinking?! I saw clips of this on Dr. Drew's HLN show this evening. GROSS.

I read about this earlier. I don't think I want to watch the video. Nasty bitches.

WTF? I can't believe parents agreed to this. People are just messed up.

Something similar, but only with massages, happened at a pep rally at my high school. I thought that was pretty tasteless and gross. This is super super gross. What were those parents thinking???

DrPhil 12-19-2011 10:44 PM

I know what some of the kids were thinking:

"BOOMCHICKAWOWOWWWWWW...oh shit, it's YOU, Dad?!?!?!?! What the hell?!"

What about the girl and her father on the floor tumbling around? She probably thought he was making out with some hottie. One boy described his mother's luscious lips.

At the same time, would the kids really think their school was organizing a hook up fest? At the same time, would the kids really think their school was organizing a parent-student kissing fest?

Yeah, there were pranks like this when I was in high school (class of 1991), only there was no internet at that time and no one put it on video. In addition, the parents only gave "pecks," not the cringe-worthy type kissing that occurred in the video. Totally different times now given that the internet is forever, and 100% completely inappropriate.

That's what the man on HLN said just now. A peck on the cheeks and even on the lip (I prefer cheek over lip), I can understand. But a lip fest is disgusting. They should have established rules since those parents are too dumb to figure it out without rules.

How could the parents willingly do this? Trying to seduce/trick their children into kissing passionately?

Who was on the floor (not that it matters), a boy and his mother or a girl and her father? People were pointing and laughing at them, egging them on.

What's up with the mother guiding her son's hands to her ass? And the other one stroking her son's hair?

Absolutely unacceptable. On every level. Even the "pecking" story - what is appropriate about tricking your child into thinking that he or she is kissing someone else - anyone else? I want to vomit.

Ok see I thought it was just pecks because no one would be disturbed enough to have a parent-child makeout party. But apparently I was wrong. This cements my decision not to click on the link.

i'm so confused.

the parents KNEW they were kissing their own children, but got freaky with it anyway?

not that it would be better if they thought they were kissing someone else's child, but still.

where is this place? i don't ever want to go.

Wow, there are so many things this could fall under: incest, statutory, hazing, child endangerment - for the school in loco parentis as well as the parents. I wouldn't know where to start if I was the DA, it's that sick.

DrPhil 12-20-2011 12:51 PM

I kind of hope this does not lead to disciplinary or legal action and just goes into yet another "dumb stuff people do" and "lessons of life."

My thoughts exactly. The parents and the school administration showed a supreme error in judgement, and that's putting it pretty mildly. Gross, inappropriate, wrong.
