Quette Question...

Ive been dating an Omega man for over a year now. I attend many, almost all events that arent members only. Ive been reading about the Quettes and wonder if i qualify, since i am the "sweetheart" of an Omega Psi Phi man? Do I have to get permission from him? Do I introduce myself to them? What steps do i take? I am not in any sorority so i think it would be nice for us to have that connection in common.

Either ask your Omega man or ask the Quettes that you know. :)

Is that pronounced Cue-Etts or Kwetts? Just curious.

I don't know if it is different at different schools; however, the way one of my Q Dog friends explained it was that if his girlfriend joined was that she would talk with him about joining, he in turned would talk with the Quettes and the Quettes would then talk with her about it. From my understanding there was some other stuff going on with this process, but I don't know what.

I do have to say that this was said in public at a Tri-Council meeting (CPC, NPHC, and IFC combined) during part of our diversity seminars about how different GLOs do different things, so it might not be the entire process.

I'm a Quette-in-Training.

Lots and lots of training.

Yes, lord.
