Here's wear we can talk about jerks that we've encountered while on the road. ;) We can use this to release the tension we have because of the idiots that are on the road.

Here's my jerk story from yesterday:

I was getting into the left lane to make a left turn. Some guy, who obviously had no clue where he was going, quickly swung into the left lane without even looking. I slammed onto my breaks and my horn. He had this huge F350 so he thought he owned the road. He opened his window and stuck his middle finger out at me! I just chose to ignore it instead of making an obscene gesture at him. This Florida...you could get shot for just about anything. So, we make the left turn. He pulls up next to me while we were driving and glares at me. This was getting ridiculous since he was clearly wrong. The speed limit on this road was 45. He speeds up to 70 and comes around me and completely cuts me off! Talk about road rage. Right about then, my radar detector was going off. I was only going about 49. I see the police car making a U-turn. His lights go on and he pulled over the jerk. It was one of the most satisfying moments of my life. As I drove past the guy, I looked at him and gave his this look like, "Hah Hah!" :p It was great.

That NEVER happens to me! I always get so frustrated when people have hard-core road rage, because it seems like cops are never around when you need them! I'm glad your middle finger friend got pulled though - that'll teach him!

This happened on the day of Thanksgiving break, but it has happened before.
A carload of teenagers were TEARING though a neighborhod with little kids walking home from school. Everyone got out of school about the same time. The driver turned to talk to someone in the back seat and swerved towards the kids. ( Luckily, no one was hurt, but dang was it close.) I laid on my horn trying to get someone's attention and the people in the car "flicked" me off and drove away laughing. If I could have safely caught up, I would have taken their license plate number and called it in.

One time I was on the PA Turnpike and this group of Teenage boys I swear were trying to cause an accident. They would swerve in and out of traffic and construction cones, speed up in front of you and then like slam on the breaks, so that you would have to and hope that you didn't get smacked by another car or a tractor trailer and then they decided to start throwning stuff out of their car like soda cans, fast food bags ect. and this was all during rush hour.
finally, they were being dumb as they drove by the state police building where a state cop pulled right out behind them and pulled them over. everyone on the turnpike started beeping their horns and yelling curses at the kids as they drove by.

My boyfriend and I were on the way to his soccer game a couple of weekends ago when we noticed a car slightly ahead of and to the right of us driving erratically. As we got to a red light, we realized that the car had 4 skinny little boys in it -- I'll bet the driver had just turned 16, and the passengers were either newly 16 or younger. They were nothing more than a bunch of little punks in daddy's car who were trying to start a fight with a car stopped to the left of them which had two other young boys inside. As we waited for the light to change, the punk driver hopped out of his car and tried to get the passenger of the other car to step out for a fight. In the middle of Atlanta traffic! Dumba$$! Luckily, the passenger was smart and simply locked the doors and rolled up his window.

When the light turned green, the punks swerved in and out of our lane, trying to make the car in front of us swerve also. The whole time, the 4 kids were hanging out the windows yelling obscenities at the other car.

As soon as he got a chance, my boyfriend sped up so that the little delinquents couldn't get close to the second car again. He also slowed down at the next yellow light, making the kids stop while we and the other car sped through. They were SO pissed. :D I took deep satisfaction in the fact that we'd stopped them from bullying - even if just for a few minutes. I wish I'd had a pen and paper for their license plate number. I would have loved to turn the little snots into the police.

UGH! Just thinking about that incident makes my blood boil. :mad:
