Lavaliering

At the beginning of this semester, I started dating a girl who has a couple years left in school. She is basically the Delta Chi sweetheart here at my university. I will be completing school in Dec and I wasn't sure if you can lavalier the gf of an alumni member. It would obviously be too soon to lavalier her this semester, but she is good friends with a lot of my brothers and will be in school for a couple more years. Could I lavalier her a year or two from now even though I'll be an alumni?

You'd have to ask your fraternity. I had a friend whose alum boyfriend (in another fraternity) lavaliered her during her senior year, so it isn't unheard of.

You might want to edit your post to leave out your school.

Thank you so much for your answer. That's what I was hoping.
I'm a charter member of my chapter (as we were only founded in 2005 and chartered in 2008) so I would think that there is actually no precedence yet...in which case I would assume that I could do it...especially since I will probably be sitting on the the alumni board as soon as this semester is over.

If you're going to be around the area, I don't see why not. I'd ask your ABT and see how they feel too. ITB.

Thank you brother. I don't plan on leaving our hometown at all. Since I'll be on the ABT soon...and hope to be the BB within a few years, I would assume I can do whatever I want :-P
ITB sir.
