Question for ZTA

ZTA friends, I was looking through the 1951 Ole Miss yearbook and I noticed ZTA's crest looks different. Is this your crest or did the yearbook use the wrong one? Just curious. Obviously if it is something you cannot tell me then no worries.

How interesting! From the Coats of Arms, Crests, Emblems (or something like that...) thread I remember that Emily Helen Butterfield helped ZTA (among others) redesign their coat of arms, but I would have imagined that happened much earlier than 1951. Emily Helen Butterfield lived until 1958, so I guess I'm wrong in that assumption.

Thanks for posting this OleMissGlitter - I'm interested to hear a ZTA weigh in!

Here is the thread: http://www.greekchat.com/gcforums/sh...d.php?t=115482

I usually search from Google with like this "keyword site:greekchat.com" and have found it easier to find what I'm looking for. I usually can't get specific enough through the GC search to find what I need.

Fixed my post - I guess I never noticed the spelling of Helen!

When I was in school, we just referred to her as "Emily H".

Back to the ZTA thread...;)

The crest changed in 1926. Not sure why they used that pic.
