Disciplinary Action Report Posting

The disciplinary action report has been posted to the DST national website. Has anyone seen it? How do you feel about it? Do you think it's fair? I'm a soror of DST who follows the rules and I for one think it serves those ladies right to have thier names posted for all to see. Don't be ashamed now.....

Hello Soror.

First, welcome to GC. Please feel free to drop by the "I invite all new Sorors to GC" thread and introduce yourself to the Sorors on the board.

Second, I am always in support of the decisions of the National Executive Board as we all should be. We don't have to agree but we should know how to support Grand Chapter and debate what we don't agree with if we feel a change is necessary. I have no problem with the publication of the report. More important that the report, I believe, is the publication of a staement on hazing, a working definition of hazing that all can understand and publication of the applicants rights and responsibiilities.

Third, while I am all for open debate and exchange of ideas, I would hope that Sorors would choose to debate this issue or dissent from the decision of the National Executive Board in private rather than in a public forum. Although the decison has been made to make the report public, the discussion about it is really a family discussion that does not require the input of or witnessing by ousiders to Delta.

Again welcome to the board and we hope you find you like it here.

(Soror Moderators, hope you do not mind me replying- as always, handle as uyou see fit!)

Thanks

Soror Kimmie,
Everything that you said is well stated. Any discussion should take place privately among sorors only.

Aislynn, please introduce yourself. Welcome to GC!

New Addition to National Web Site

I would like to know how everyone feels about the Disciplinary Action Report that nationals has posted on their web site. Do you think this type of information is too personal to be on the web site, or do you think of the Nationals team as trailblazers for making this information accessible to everyone so that they can put an end to hazing and the lawsuits that come with it?
