Coach calls Frat Row for last second help.

Any Vols out there know what house he is in? Incredible story!

"We didn't have a kicker," Dooley said. "And we had to make a call to the frat house. This is no lie. We called the frat house and had a policeman go get him."

"Another plus for the Vols: Brodus was sober."

Because everybody knows that if you're at your FRATERNITY house on a Saturday, you must be drunk.

Well, it IS Tennessee...

That's a great story. Actually, it sounds like a sport-bar commerical where the fan steps out of the reality of his own life and onto the field to lead his team to victory.

Good for him.

I imagine his life this week is more fun than the PK for Alabama's life this week.

Boy, isn't that the truth. Let's hope he regroups and has a great game against Mississippi State. Of course I can say that since I have no dog in the fight, just sympathy for someone who had the game from hell.

But back to the Tennessee kid-how did the coach even know about him? I know he was on a big deal hs football team, but still... did they look at him originally, or did he try to walk on and not make the Tennessee team? Is he now a part of the team? Or did they say, "thanks kid, did a great job, now go back to your real life on the couch"?

He is a walk on, but doesn't normally dress for the game.
