Disclaimer: I'm always Team Jon Stewart. I don't dislike Donald Trump. I just think Donald Trump is an attention whore who beefs with anyone.

I watched Jon Stewart's discussion of Herman Cain (the video is on the link) and I do not see what Donald Trump is talking about. I kept waiting for it. My conclusion is Stewart's rant was not a "racist rant."

Alleged tone/inflection is not the same as calling someone a nappy-headed ho (which is one of the instances I'm sure Trump is alluding to). He needs to sit his ass down somewhere.

Jon Stewart began his rant with a fake Italian accent discussing how sexual the pizza industry is. He continued his rant with a fake Herman Cain voice (it was definitely not a "Black people" accent").

He then went on to mock Romney (was that Romney?) using a "Romney voice."

Donald Trump eats New York style pizza with a fork. I can't trust him for anything. (Go Jon Stewart!)

So because Cain is black nobody's allowed to mock him for being ridiculous? Instead maybe we should go on a multi-year witch hunt trying to prove he's not American.

Very similar to how the long-standing connotation behind blackface makes it galactically worse than whiteface, the long-standing pizza- and voice-related mocking of the African diaspora, particularly in reference to those who have thrust themselves into celebrity via their talents, actions or aspirations, makes it way worse than similar Italian-American pizza- and/or voice-related mocking.

It's science.

I wish I weren't at work so I could watch this. Even without watching it, I have no doubt that this is just more of Trump being Trump: "a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing."

Isn't ranting on Republicans pretty much how Jon Stewart makes his living? Exempting Cain would be like asking Taylor Swift to stop writing breakup songs and Kim Kardashian to keep her badonkadonk off of the gossip sites.

Of course I would normally agree with this but his "Italian voice" was much more stereotypical than his Herman Cain voice (which was not "a Black voice"). I actually heard nothing stereotypically Black about his Herman Cain voice. That is why I was patiently waiting to hear what Donald Trump was talking about. I never heard it. The only thing that made me go "hmmmm...comedians sure say some interesting things sometimes" was his reference to black balls...or black nuts...or something.

Yeah, I was being sarcastic - and the Italian/pizza connection is something we'll debate another time. WE WILL.

Also Cain refers to himself as "black walnut" sometimes ... which is weird enough.

Has my attention span gotten that short or is Jon Stewart really boring? I couldn't make it halfway through the clip.

Jon Stewart is awesome! Herman Cain is boring. However, I will give you that some of his stories (like this one) are serialized, so if you haven't been watching it may seem like there were details left out. Like for instance if he made a reference to the black walnut thing. He covered that days ago when Cain was first saying it to every news source out there.
