Alpha Chi's please help us out with Greek week!
 

Hey AXO's, Oregon's alpha kappa chapter is currently in a greek week competition, and one of the catogories is a picture contest for a company called rent the runway. Rent the runway is an organziation that allows for girls to rent designer outfits instead of having to purchase them. One of Oregon's axo sophomores is running Rent the Runway on our campus and doing an amazing job. Not only that but our Greek week competition is benefiting food for lane county an organization that helps people in need of food as well as clothing and other necessities. Currently we are in second place and want to get 1st (of course)

Well I thought I recognized the complete disregard for grammar rules that normally characterize my child's online writing. Made a quick phone call and sure enough - the OP is mine. :).

Again thank you all so much if you have liked the picture already but we still need more votes...our goal is to get to 2000 by Friday and so far we have almost 1000. Please tell other Alpha Chi sisters about this,post it on Facebook walls, and get people to like it, it should only take two seconds, and is for a great cause. GO AXO : )

I first had to check that there wasn't an Alpha Xi I would be voting against, and then gave you a like! It is a very cute picture.

Just to clarify - the picture is a sorority sister of her's - not my daughter, Greeklove21 (who is now 22, by the way), but it is a cute picture and thank you DubaiSis!! No, they don't have an Alpha Xi chapter. I think the closest one is UW, but maybe if things keep growing you guys will be next!

Keep liking the picture our goal again is to get to 2000 by friday and right now we have about 1200. Thanks again to those who are helping. I also found out Oregon's Greek Week is also benefiting the Boys and Girls Club, another great cause. If you could post think like on AXO Facebook pages or spread the word that would be awesome thanks!

Hey Everybody,

Sorry for being so slow to respond. I went up to Seattle for the UO/Udub game - Yeah DUCKS! then had chapter elections and a midterm to get ready for but I wanted to say thanks to everybody who voted. As my greek sister said in the other thread - Gamma Phi Beta won. Congrats to the UO chapter! and we took 2nd but we did get over 2,000 votes which was our goal.

We took 2nd overall for greek week, partnered with AEPi and Beta. Kappa Delta took 1st.

Most important, we raised money for some great local causes. I don't know the exact amount yet but I'll let you know when I do. Thanks again!
