KA's die in accident

Two of them have the same last name and are from the same hometown. Brothers?

Prayers, comfort and healing for all that knew these young men.

I have no idea, but I am thinking not as I would think that would have been mentioned in the article.

Everyone in the Ole Miss community is praying for their family and their friends. They were all KA Order pledges. So sad.

Two of the guys I know who just rushed at Ole Miss (ATO pledges) lived in the same dorm as these three guys. Everyone is really shaken up. So sad, tragic and scary. I hope the two with the same last name from the same town were not bio brothers.

I do not believe Walker Kelly and Sam Kelly were bio brothers. But I wonder if they were cousins since they went to the same high school in Madison, MS. My computer is not cooperating but go to the DM online and there is a new article about the accident this morning. My heart still aches for their family and friends.

I have since seen a couple of articles that clarified the Kelly's were not bio brothers. Sounds like all three guys had been close friends for years. One report said their parents didn't expect them home for another 6 weeks (pledging activities, maybe?) but that the guys made a surprise visit home Saturday. It said they were heading back to Oxford to meet other KA's for church. It is a really sad story all the way around. I wonder if they had a tire blow out and that's why they went off the road? I guess this info will be released as they get it.

It is a horrible thing to deal with the loss, but I know the staff at Ole Miss is more prepared than many to assist the students as they grieve. Sparky Reardon was part of the Student Life staff back in 1987 when the 5 Chi Omegas were killed during a charity walk.

My sincere sympathy to the family, brothers, and friends of these young men. What a tragedy for all.
