Martha Stewart's daughter on Today Show

Saw the interview this morning on the Today Show with Martha Stewart's daughter, Alexis, and her "former friend" and former radio show co-host, Jennifer. What did you all think? I thought that Alexis came off as cold and insensitive. Saying that she is no longer friends with Jennifer and no longer wishes to spend time with her after so many years of friendship and working together! Both women insisting that they never had a fall-out. It's like Alexis just "divorced" her friend because she wanted to! Poor Jennifer seemed so uncomfortable! You could tell that she feels hurt by Alexis' rejection. It was uncomfortable to watch the interview! Alexis was promoting her new book...about growing up with Martha as her mommy! Well, I have to wonder if Martha ever gave her daughter any affection growing up, because Alexis appears to be as cold as a stone!

And yes, I do want to read the book! I think that it will be a good thing!

I did not watch it but found this article:

It was icy awkward. Alexis came across as totally unlikeable, cold and, from her own words, emotionally warped. Who does the coventry thing?

I can only imagine the angst of her publicist and publisher. There is no end to the needed damage control.

I used to listen to "Whatever" - in fact, I am the one and only listener of the week and was interviewed by them. Alexis is one big hot mess, and I am only surprised it took her as long as it did to decide to cut Jennifer out of her life. She is not a woman who plays well with others.
