Arkansas Greeks Help Needy Families
All NPC chapters and Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity collected over 100,000 cans of food to help needy families in the Fayetteville, AR area. The chapters donated the canned goods to the U of A Food Bank and the Salvation Army. Pictured here is just part of the food collected.
Perhaps GC posters can add other positive stories of Greek community service.http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r...77_njpgARK.jpg |

Greek Relief After Killer Tornadoes in Alabama
http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r...reekRelief.jpgIn the aftermath of killer tornadoes in the Tuscaloosa area and the University of Alabama Greeks banded together to make hot food, collect supplies, deliver meals and raise funds for tornado relief. The Greeks assisted in making 52,000 meals, stored food and assisted as needed. The Greeks eventually raised $180,000 for tornado relief. Fraternity chapters used kitchens for cooking and sorority women collected food supplies and helped in relief efforts until professional relief agencies arrived.
