What do "rush chairs" do?
^
Clearly, they provide seating for the PNMs.

come on guys.....really what do they do
Well, if you're visiting one of the really wealthy houses, they may have those fancy massaging recliners instead of simple folding chairs, so in addition to providing seating, they also could give you a relaxing massage.
They put their sisters in rolling office chairs and roll them across campus. Most of the time they're running late because they have to do the whole chapter. This is where the RUSH part comes in.
They are the ones who coordinate the track & field events for Greek Games. And sometimes Intramurals, but only at the SEC schools. They're usually the fastest women in the sororities. Hence, rush chairs.
It is simple: Rush chairs 'do' rush.

Also, are you posting from 1985? Because "rush" hasn't been used formally in this century by NPC sororities. (It's not politically correct.) Pretty sure the orgs have recruitment chairs now, which would also serve the same functions as previously noted by the other posters and me in this thread.
