I'm thinking she means something like Delta Sigma Pi (business). I am not familiar with biology GLOs.

Let's not EVEN get started on the using an apostrophe to make things plural. Last time I checked, an apostrophe NEVER makes an object plural!

I believe there is an organization known as Tri-Beta for biology majors.

www.tri-beta.org

It's a co-ed society, but it is dedicated to biology.

A co-ed fraternity rather than a sorority (which any professional GLO is likely to be), but maybe Beta Iota Omicron? (Though it's not clear to me whether they've expanded beyond their Alpha Chapter.)

ETA: I think Tri-Beta is an honor society.

Tri-Beta is the honorary co-ed group for Bio-science majors.
