Alum question.

I had a few things come up and I was wondering about being an early alum. I just found out this summer some not so good news, and I need to take care of that first and foremost beyond anything else. I do not want to drop or leave because I love my sisters so much and it tears me apart to ever think of that, but I don't know what to do. I've looked and search around etc. for some answers about becoming early alum and I haven't found anything for my situation. I would appreciate some help. Thank you!

You need to talk to your chapter officers and/or your advisers.

Some organizations have a temporary status for emergency situations. See your chapter advisor, stat.

Don't make any decisions until you know all the facts. And if you don't feel like your'e getting the support you need from your chapter, go up the chain. The girls in your chapter may not actually know what's available to you.

And speaking of that, does your sorority offer free confidential counseling services? Alpha Xi Delta does, and it wouldn't surprise me if others do as well. If you're going through a life crisis, do NOT do this on your own.

Thank you so much, I appreciate all the advice. DubiaSis- I'm not exactly sure if they offer counseling services, but I'll definitely check into it.

^^ If your sorority doesn't your campus should.
