well, we started the thread about bad stuff in life..and have had a lot of sex topics lately..since its the holiday season..why don't we post the things that make us happy

1. a purring kitten
2. finding the steve madden boots that you've wanted forever on sale
3. a pretty sunset
4. when gas prices go down
5. when someone tells you they love you
6. not wanting to go to class, going, and finding out it was canceled
7. sleeping in
8. doing really well on an exam you thought you failed
9. no traffic
10. perfect parking spot
11. a good mix tape/cd
12. the feeling of contentment/happiness/excitement after the concert of your favorite bands

But...sex does make me happy.:rolleyes:

Seriously though (although the comment was serious)
Some stuff that makes me happy...

1-Lasagna...mmmm...

2-Getting a super high after finishing a performance and having the crowd applaud in appreciation

3- Having someone cry because they care about you so much, not because they are sad.

4- baby gurgle (that goo goo sound they make...you know what I mean)

5- ESPN!

6- getting the last seat on the bus so that my ass doesn't have to stand up for the commute to and from the city

7- xmas presents

8- just walking outside and standing in a thunderstorm, clothes on and all. I don't know why, but that's totally invigorating.

9- cartoons

10- animal crackers and ovaltine (again, no real explanation for this one)

(1) Sneaking away from work while my boss is in a long meeting.
(2) Watching/listening to my dog yawn.
(3) The first snow of the season.
(4) Dave Matthews.
(5) Helping other people.
(6) Sleeping in on the weekends.
(7) Hearing a great old 80's song and rocking out in the car.
(8) When our QB completes a pass.
(9) Snickers ice cream cones.
(10) Cheap Gas.
(11) The first time a guy reaches for your hand to hold.

(13) Doing a little silly ritual with my mom where I say "I love you" and she says "Better!" and I say "Whatever!"

1. When my children are happy-I'm happy.
2. When my son says "Love you Mom" in front of his friends.
3. When my daughter calls me out of the blue just to talk or share some "gossip" or news.
4. Hubby givng me a hug by the kitchen sink and we cleanup together.
5. Making dinner for my Mom.
6. Watching young parents with their little ones in church.
7. A great old movie or a really good book on a rainy day.

9. Oldies that take me back to a specific time or incident in my life.
10. Cristmas- Christmas music-Christmas classic movies-the true miracle of Christmas
11. Singing the Star Spangled Banner-even more so now.
12. Being able to make a child laugh.
13 When my kids' friends call or visit and take time to sit and chat with me.
14. Horses-the most beautiful creature on earth.
15. Slipping into my flannel shirt and blue jeans.

5pm, cause thats when I get off work
Going to sleep (don't get much sleep)
Snow when it just starts to fall, same thing with rain
Laughing makes me happy
waking up from a good sleep, (you know the one , where you wake up and you just have to smile , cause you slept sooo good)
a christmas tree, like late at nite, and the lights are blinking and every thing looks so pretty and festive
a warm blanket when you are really cold (or a warm person ;) )

Summer Time
Usualy the holidays make me happy
oh oh and the month of February always makes me happy, not just because it's my brithday, but i think it's just a pretty month

1. Finding the cutest pair of pants and top on sale at the Limited or Express, and having a gift certificate to take another $10 dollars off, Or $15 or 20 percent ...
2. The "high" after a good, long workout. The "good" ache of muscles.
3. A long girls' night out in St. Louis - from dinner to Have a Nice Day Cafe to the Landing to the OZ. When you talk to the cute boys, dance up a storm and finish the night off at Denny's or Jack in the Crack at 4 a.m.
4. Making out for the first time with a guy you like. Heck, mutual attraction with a guy when you first act on that - holding hands, etc.
5. Rain on a warm summer day, splashing puddles falls in here too.
6. Horseback riding -- more specifically the feeling you get after having a successful round at a jump course or cross country course. There's something about travelling through the air on a living animal.
7. Music. Everything from college bands to country to pop.
8. Eighties anything.
9. Friends and Family.
10. A spirituality and my relationship with God.
