Oscar Winner Cliff Robertson dead at 88.
 

Mr. Robertson won a 1968 Best Actor Oscar for the film "Charly" and had a great film career. He is best known to current film audiences as "Uncle Ben" in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man film trilogy.

He was one of the most handsome men in Hollywood back in the day. He was married to Dina Merrill, one of the richest women in the world and a beautiful actress in her own right.

Her father was the founder of Merrill Lynch and her mother was Marjorie Merriweather Post, of Post Cereals. They were a beautiful couple in the 70's and 80's. He also played JFK in the movie PT109.
