This does not involve a Greek member, but does indicate students must be aware at all times.

An Albany State female student was shot in mid August. The young women was shot while attempting to purchase a discount ticket from a non student. The non student shot the woman in the thigh when he tried to rob her during the brief meeting. Later he turned himself in to the police. The female student was taken to the hospital for immediate treatment.

Thank you for this reminder on campus safety.

There have been a few incidents at Albany State in the past 2 years.

Most schools from what I understand, publish safety reports. It's always a good idea to read them and see what escort programs or other safety programs are offered.
