advice on gpa and rushing
 
so im rushing for my school and they have a gpa req of 2.25 and my gpa is a 2.15 and has increased over the past few years i have been in school. do you think there is still a chance of me getting in??

If your GPA doesn't even meet the rushing requirements, I'd say NO.

Is this fraternity or sorority recruitment?

I can only answer re: sorority recruitment: If the minimum is 2.25 (or above) for all chapters and you are below that, you can expect to not receive a bid.

Sororities often require a higher GPA than that required to simply participate in recruitment.

IF you are a male and trying fraternity rush, our answers are useless. How about a clue?

2.15 is almost failing out of school. Perhaps you need to spend more time on your academics than worrying about a fraternity. The economy sucks and you're going to have to get a job eventually. Grades matter for your first job out of school.
