I just got in to Zeta Tau Alpha a couple of weeks ago. Coming from a non-greek family my parents are super excited! My mom is very proud that I am a ZTA and wanted a sweatshirt to show it off. Is she allowed to wear my letters or is that strictly for members? Since I am a fairly new member I don't exactly know how this works.

the zta's on my campus had really nice quarter zip pullovers made for their mothers with "ZTA" on one line above the left breast and "MOM" right below. I loved it so much, I had one for my mother made exactly like it!
The best person to answer your ? is an older girl in your chapter for sure though!
Also, plenty of National HQ boutiques make lettered apparel for parents, ill check on the zta site and see for you! If your NHQ is selling it, it is obviously 100% appropriate :)

BabyZeta, we have a special ceremony for moms where you can pin your mom with a ZTA mother's pin. My chapter does this during Parents Weekend. Yours may vary. :-)

I have seen "Zeta Mom" and "Zeta Dad" gear at Zeta Days, so we do make gear for parents to wear! :-)

Welcome to ZTA and I hope you enjoy your new member period!

Get your parents ZTA Mom or ZTA Dad stuff, but save the regular ZTA stuff for yourself.
