Sorority Room Themes

Hey GC!

So I am super stoked to be living in my sorority's house soon, but me and my roommates still have to choose a room theme. Each room has to have it's own unique theme, so I thought it would be fun to get some ideas from you all :)

Oh and pics of comforters and other room stuff would be great.

Thanks all!

The ones I remember that our actives have done recently were a Victoria's Secret theme (lots of pink stripes) and a Tiffany's theme (somehow they found everything in exactly the right shade of blue! Lots of white bows, too). In one of my favorite rooms in the house right now, one of the sisters brought in a giant purple armchair. The rooms aren't super-huge (beds are lofted over the desks to give them way more room than we had when I was there!), but the chair works in the space and that room seems much cozier with it.

This is one of my favorite things to do is decorate my bedroom. Usually I like to roll with a color theme. This year I'm doing dark blue, light blue and yellow. To that theme I'll integrate small personal touches of what I like. So I studied abroad, so I might put hints of Italian things in there that works with the blue and yellow.

A girl at another sorority I toured but a few elephant things in the room because she was obsessed with them.

I love the idea of the Victoria's Secret and Tiffany's rooms. My sorority had a TON of "Europe" and "Seaside" rooms last year, which was just meh.

This may be a crazy additional thing, but I also like to know what way my room is facing. East will get the sunrise, West the sunset, South has perfect light, and North is consistent, but doesn't get any direct light. If you have a North-facing room I would suggest warmer colors. (Okay, so that's really crazy, but interior arch/ architecture is my major haha sorry about that)

One girl had a super romantic room with lace and sheer draping, a pretty star light, and white, textured comforter with baby pink sheets. It was super sweet.
