Rain During Recruitment

This may seem like a ridiculous question, but I'm wondering what happens if it rains during recruitment. Surely we don't all walk around getting soaked....right?

You bring an umbrella

This would be a question to ask your rho gamma (rho chi, whatever). Give it a rest, though, you're going to psych yourself out. At this point, whatever will be will be.

Yep, you just bring an umbrella.

If you usually spend ages straightening your hair and it falls apart and frizzes when it rains (or vice versa) you might want to experiment with some hair styles that are more in line with your natural hair type, rain or shine.

I rushed in a hurricane. UNC decided to get all of the open house rounds in on Friday night that year, which went so well that that is now how recruitment is run. (Seriously, there's always a major storm/hurricane for UNC recruitment it seems!)

Bring an umbrella, or two, a Longchamp (or other waterproof bag), and avoid wearing white. Shoot, I'd even wear rainboots, but maybe I'm too practical.

Just like they do in the MidWest during Winter recruitment, do as Mandy says: wear your rainboots and carry your shoes. Your Rho Chi will watch your belongings while you are inside the chapter.

Throw an umbrella and anti-frizz serum in your bag. Be prepared for possible instant hairstyle changes. :)

It rained during my recruitment. The actives had umbrellas to walk us to the area where we'd left all our stuff so we could get our own umbrellas.
