Anderson Cooper's The RidicuList: Alabama slammers

Not only was I not at all too sure just where to place this CNN story, still not at all to sure just what to make of it:
The RidicuList: Alabama slammers

Editor's note: Anderson explains why those who are slamming sorority girls from the University of Alabama have landed on the RidicuList.

I love Anderson. I really do.

Uh....did anyone actually watch this? He's not sincerely defending - more like piling on. But funny, in a snarky way. And he mocks a Kappa rush video as well. Meow, Anderson. Meow.

(I actually really like him, but this was like hunting mice with a rocket launcher)

"who put the 'hell' in 'Panhellenic.'"

I think he's half piling on and half telling the people who took it too seriously to get a grip.

The video sound quality was pretty awful, but I'd rather listen to and watch it all day than either of these two gems. Neither are safe for work, or life.

http://youtu.be/I2dS1RuKJLY video about fourloko filmed in a park I played in as a child, a Shell station, with my childhood church in the background. I swear some woman is wearing floral granny panties over black control top pantyhose that have holes.

and

http://youtu.be/6WJFjXtHcy4 I have no words and I am so happy she left the Bay Area and moved to Los Angeles, I can't handle hipster rappers who gratuitously use the n word

I wonder which sorority he pledged?

Senusret I 08-17-2011 10:14 PM

Anderson Cooper is a douche.

What'd he do?

I have a generally positive perspective of him. Is there a reason I should stop?

No shit, really? You mean he's gay? *gasp* the horror.

So why in the hell would you make a joke about him joining a sorority?

Just wondering why Sen thinks he's a douche.

That's as funny as finding out which fraternity Rachel Maddow joined.

On another note, "outing" is lame.

I agree overall although am slightly less concerned about it when it's someone actively speaking against gay rights who is outed. I can't decide if I have a principled view about it or it's just some vindictiveness.

Oh and gee whiz since I swing both ways can I join a fraternity now too? If only I'd known that in college.

/or known I was bi/pan/sapio in college.

I just think his overall tone and approach to life are douchy. I used to follow him on twitter. While not exactly vapid, I think he's approaching it.
