My Fall 2011 Fairytale Recruitment Story!
 

I cannot believe the time has almost come! I start recruitment in about two weeks! I have been looking forward to this day for almost two years! Nobody in my family is Greek so I am a little nervous about what to expect. I went to orientation in June and talked to several girls from a few of the sororities on campus and they are all extremely nice which makes me feel a little better. I am not the most outgoing person, but these girls were so easy to talk to. Although I have heard stereotypes about the sororities already, I am going to go into this process with a completely open mind! I have already made a friend during orientation that is going to go through recruitment with me. She was skeptical at first since it is such a huge commitment, but after talking with a few members we were both sold on giving the process a chance. For this story I will call her Vanessa. We have 8 sororities on campus. For the theme I am going to name each house after Disney princesses!

Aurora (aka sleeping beauty)
Belle
Cinderella
Jasmine
Pocahontas
Snow White
Rapunzel
I feel pretty prepared! My recs are sent, my outfits are picked out, now all that’s left is waiting! Recruitment Orientation is on the 21!! Can’t wait! I will keep you ladies posted! :p

Could you possibly make Belle, Aurora and Cinderella different (darker) colors? They're sort of hard for us old wicked queens to see. ;)

I was hoping this was going to be an Arkansas story with the 8 houses, but we start the week before...bummer. Good luck though and I love the theme!
