What to wear for pref night
 

I got my recruitment packet in the mail today and it suggests that for pref night we should wear a nice dress that we would wear to a wedding. I don't want to look too casual or too dressed up and I'm afraid that the outfit that I have picked out will look too over the top for this particular occasion. My mom says that as long as I'm not wearing a prom dress/have my hair in a crazy formal style then I won't be too dressed up because it is a very formal occasion. What are your thoughts?

I don't think the dress is too formal - it certainly depends on the campus, of course.

I just wasn't sure how formal pref night actually is, so I wanted to make sure! Thank you!

It's cute, but depending on your school, might be better suited for an earlier round.

I'm with IrishLake on this one. It really depends on the school. On some campuses it will work just fine for Preference. At others, it will be too casual.
