Badges
How do you find out what your badge number is? Some of the fraternity guys at my school were talking about their badge numbers, but none of the girls in our sorority know what our numbers are.

Ours is the same way. It's engraved on the back along with our initials.

I know that older AGD badges have the chapter letters and a number (the initiation year, if I'm not mistaken?) in the back. However, I think the more recent ones don't have it. Mine only has the 14K stamp and Epsilon Pi.

Delta Zeta sisters are not assigned badge numbers because it is Headquarters' policy that all sisters are equal when they are initiated. I guess they thought that a numbering system would make the older sisters feel more "special" than the newer ones, so they don't do it. Hope this helps! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif

I'm newly initiated, so I haven't received my badge yet in the mail. However, I would think that your badge number and membership number are the same thing? I don't think my GLO puts your # on the back, rather they put your name and initiation date on the badge (when I receive my badge, I can verify for sure). But in my GLO, your memebership number apprears on the mailing label of the journal which comes out 4x a year.
