Recomendations?
 

Hello! I am planning on rushing the deferred rush at Furman University this spring, but have realized that I may not be as prepared as I need to be. The only people I know who have had any involvement in Greek life are my father and well as the father of a friend of mine. They both went to large state schools, but said that they did not need recommendations for rush. I am not sure if I do either, and was not even aware that they were possible until I saw them mentioned on this site. Neither my mother, nor the mothers of any of my friends were in sororities, so I'm not quite sure where I should try and find a recommendation, or if I even should try to get one. Does anyone have advice?

Ask family friends, teachers, church members, neighbors if they were in sororities. Certainly some of your dad's/friend's dad's fraternity brothers married sorority women. Explain that you are going to a school in the South and need recs.
