How heartbreaking. :( Their sixth child who is their oldest, 16 year old Ashlei, was not with them.

I can imagine feeling horrified and guilty that you weren't with your family; and also feeling blessed that you weren't with your family. :(

This is really terrible. I can't imagine what her daughter is going through right now. She apparently lives with her father in St. Louis.

The Teutenberg family is from my area, and were headed to the airport in my hometown. :( The local news is discussing this in detail, but very tastefully.

Thanks for clarifying. I misread that part of the article. The article does say it is her daughter and not "the couple's" oldest daughter.
