Convention 2013
 

For those who have not yet heard, Convention 2013 will be held in Boston. First time we will have convention there!

Ahh yay!! I won't have to fly anywhere!

Oh, that would be sooo much fun! I'd love to go...I miss going to Convention!! I miss my whole sorority involvement... (ah, life's priorities.. ;)

HQ just put up specifics about registration! It starts tomorrow! So so so excited! We're going to a Sox game :) :) :)

I just HAD to share because I'm so excited... I just got an email from HQ saying I was selected to be a Convention page this year :)

I'm going, too, and have been agonizing over what to wear to the White Rose Banquet. I bought a pretty nice dress of approximately knee length, so I hope I won't stand out like a sore thumb, but when else in God's name would I wear a long dress? I couldn't justify buying one just for this occasion.

Shellfish - we will stand out together :) I have worn the same knee length formal dress for the past two conventions. Sisters will come in all sorts of attire, so I wouldn't worry too much! Glad you are attending!

Hey Wavycut Chip congratulations on the awards picked up Arkansas-Little Rock. That's the chapter you advise, right?

Thanks so much, Just Interested. Yes, that is the chapter that I advised. I am so proud of the work all the advisors for Eta Sigma have done these past 2 years. I just wrapped up a 4 year stint on the board, with the last 2 as the main adviser. Taking a break to focus on my other KD responsibilities, but they are in the hands of 12 other fabulous sisters as of June 1st :) It was an honor to accept the award for these great women.

Tsk. I happen to be wearing mine today. It's a really cute hammered silver friendship bracelet, a replica of the favor from the 1913 convention.

That was quick... Why go to convention if you won't treasure things like this? I hope someone lost theirs and someone who isn't connected to KD at all found it and posted it.
