Kappa Kappa Gamme Alumni Chapter Contact?

I am gathering recs for fall recruitment and I am having a really hard time finding a way to contact the Kappa Kappa Gamma Alumni group in my town. I've already contacted NPC and the St. Louis NPC chapter for help, and I've found the website (kind of, it was blocked on the KKG national website so I had to google).

Any ideas on how I can find a contact name or email? I'm running out of ideas.

Try asking the other women you've gotten recs from if they know any Kappas.

That wouldn't be offensive?

I wouldn't think so, they know that you're going through a competitive recruitment and you'll need recs to all chapters to help maximize your options. I wouldn't be offended.

Absolutely not! When I get asked for a rec, I always ask the PNM if she needs others. Other friends of mine never do as they want to see if the PNM will ask them. They assume the PNM has all her recs if she doesn't ask. I don't. I assume they are either blissfully ignorant or are scared to ask. Call them up!

No, not at all! In a competitive recruitment it is expected that you will have letters of rec for all of the chapters, not just some. And besides, believe it or not a lot of us have great (if not best) friends in other chapters. And while I cannot speak for every sorority woman, I love the idea of women going Greek in general, just as much if not more than I love the idea of them in my sorority. So no, in short I would not say that would be offensive at all. If it were me, I would love an excuse to go talk to some of my old friends. Just say that you're rushing at Competitive U, were securing recs to all of the chapters, and that you have looked high and low and you were wondering if Sally Sorority by chance knew of any KKGs that would maybe be willing to write a rec for you. Also don't be afraid to ask any men in your life if they knew any KKGs in college. If they were Greek (and even if they weren't) it's completely possible that they do. Best of luck and let us know how it goes. :)

ETA: Titchou and IrishLake beat me to it.

I completely forgot that my dad is Greek! I will definitely go ask him and the other ladies who have offered to write recs. Thanks a lot for the advice!
