R.I.P. Clarence Clemons
The Big Man of Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band — saxophonist Clarence Clemons — died Saturday of complications of a stroke, media reports said, quoting a spokeswoman for Springsteen. Clemons was 69.
http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/43452956 I consider 69 young. Rest in peace. :( |
Read this on MSN. Too sad! Such talent.

The true heart and soul of the E Street Band, IMO, and a damned fine saxophonist, treasured as a session player and so much more. His talents will live on in his recordings, but the world just got a little smaller, again.
gone too soon. |
:(
RIP Big Man |
Heartbroken from this news. RIP Big Man, may you play pain free for eternity.

Bummer infinity. :( :( Another one gone to rock & roll heaven.

RIP, Big Man
One of my favorite chapter sisters met Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band & Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes when she was in high school, and saw them every time she could. They know her by name and when she was living in Switzerland and they played there, they even called her up on the stage to sing with them.
In one of those little flukes of life, she was in town yesterday, and we toasted to the Big Man. Needless to say, she is totally devastated. |
