Tri Delta Wins Ice Dancing World Championship Gold Medal
 

The World Championships for ice skating were held in Moscow this year. The ice dancing duo from Michigan Charlie White and Meryl Davis won the first ever ice dancing world championship for the United States. The couple outpointed the 2010 Canadian champions with a stirring tango.

Charlie and Meryl are students at the Univ. of Michigan where Meryl is a member of Delta Delta Delta.

The United States ice dancing teams won the gold and bronze medals for the first time. The Canadian team was awarded the silver medal.

Congratulations Meryl and Charlie....
