Web-Based Greek Financial Sites

Do any of you guys know much about or use any Web-Based Greek Financial sites. I am looking into the popular Greekbill.com, and OmegaFi, but i do not know to much about Omegafi. I looked at it and it seems like its more than just for finances.

Do you guys know of any other sites you would recommend. Thanks

If I recall correctly there is another thread about this already.

But my chapter used/uses OmegaFi. I really like it. It allows you to set up an account for each member, have them pay online, and other stuff that I can't recall right now.

I've heard from friends in chapters who use OmegaFi that they have what basically amounts to 100% collection rates. All of them highly recommend it.

Chi Omega is using billhighway.com nationally, it has been fantastic for our chapter. our treasurer's job is way easier without having to badger people for checks. If you don't pay on time, it hurts your credit score- a real-life implication. It's harsh, but learning to pay your bills on time is a pretty important life skill...

I did not know such a thing existed. I'm bringing this up to my EC asap! We could DEFINITELY utilize something like OmegaFi.

We use GCM, greek capital management. It seems to work well if you are simply doing payment for dues and other miscellaneous things like shirts or out of pocket events.

I looked through my Bill Highway material this morning and didn't find anything that supported this statement. I find that it would be hard for them to do this without your social security number, which (for my sorority) is not something that we ask of our members. I can see where if a member is sent to collections (but usually, this is a process taken after disciplinary action has been taken on the part of the inter/national organization) that a collection agency / judgment may cause a change in a person's credit history.Does anyone have experience with this? I can see where specific chapters may say this (to try to get members to pay on-time - Which is important for chapter operations), but I am just wondering if credit reporting is actually happening.

I thought you had to use your SSN for Bill Highway AND Omega Financial - no getting around it. This is why we had some people bitching about it.

They have DOB / Permanent Address, but I don't think that SSN is asked for from the members (at least in my experience). It is not stored in the system on the admin side for the chapter I advise, and I know that as an advisor I have never given mine (I have an account in the system). When they ask for phone number, it can be entered XXX-XXX-XXXX (just with numbers). I imagine that a SSN could also be entered that way as well.

Omega Fi is very good. All the Sig-Tau active chapters uses it.
