What do you want to be when ya grow up?
 

Yeah, sounds like a 1st grade question but, i'm new to the GC and it would be cool to know a little about the people I'm chatting with. I'll go first I guess, I want to be an entertainment attorney and own my own record label. I also want to be a daddy at some point cause I 'm gonna make a kick ass one, but that will have to wait a while.

I would like to be an history professor. Also a husband and father too.

a Make movies and films and win all these awards fro best Director and all that jazz as well as Be a Lawyer. Also be married , and kids umm way way way down the line :D ya know ;)

If I could afford it, I'd go back 35 years and be a radio disk jockey again. Or maybe go back and do some freelance TV directing. Definitiely get the heck out of management. Leave the personnel and legal problems to you younger folks.

It would also be interesting to raise our three kids again with a little more of life's knowledge to see if they made the same decisions -- both good and really stupid.

fantasy/ideal job- for those of you who are from the ny/nj area, I would LOVE to have John Sher(concert promoter for the meadowlands)'s job..that just seems like it would be the coolest job ever :)

I just had an exchange last week with EX. The theme was "10 year reunion" and I dressed up as a pregnant PTA mom!:D

You know, I was damn cute as a mommy. But as far as a job....I couldn't balance both my ideal fam and job. At least it would be very difficult. But int'l advertising maybe. Or corporate expansion.

Heck, I for one dont want to grow up, I would love to be the Executive Sec. for my Fraternity where I could spend my time with the young men of my Fraternity LXA! Gawd would that be my ideal job!!!!!!:)

Here is what I want to be
1) An editor for InStyle Magazine
2)Work in public relations for a music company
3)Work for victioms advocacy
4) Be a probation officer
The last two go with my criminal justice major. I am also an intro to journalism major and PR is an emphasis so the first two I could do to. All i need is a great internship.
I do work for a newspaper now, but I just collect bills.
It's scary to think I will have a career one day!

Hmmm....I have always wanted to be a singer. I LOVE country music!! Maybe one day you guys will see me on CMT! :D

If I weren't working for CNN, I'd like to be a travel writer--you know travel to exotic locales, eat amazing (and interesting) food, meet new people and write about it. Best of all, it would be paid for by my employer!

Lottery winner (though not a profession) would be great too. Then I could start my own publication and send myself to the aforementioned exotic locales. Ha ha! ;)
