This. If you get too focused on college and things associated with college, you risk failing your last semester of high school. Trust me, it's not a good conversation to have with your parents about why you're close to failing a couple of classes in what's supposed to be your last semester of high school.

^This poster is not a senior (she's a freshman), and she absolutely should be focused on getting *into* college.

bria2014--take challenging courses, get the best grades you can, participate in some extracurricular activities that really interest you, and surround yourself with other like-minded students. Once you get to the college of your choice, then you will have plenty of time to consider sororities.

Okay thank you and yes i have really smart friends i am taking honors classes and I have 1 Ap class, College is on the top of my Mind, but i also thought that if i wanted to join Sororities i would have to do so things while i was in High School as well!

As a high school student, you can develop good habits like time management and study skills, both of which will be incredibly helpful to you as a college student. Developing your leadership skills is another thing you can do now.

Good advice. You can also practice how you present yourself, both in person and in writing (proper punctuation and capitalization, complete sentences and not run-on sentences, etc.) It does pay off.

I am, however, slightly amused by the random capitalizations (i.e. Mind) but never capitalizing "I".

Oh okay thank you for all the advice, it really does help.
