Expansion Fall 2011/Spring 2012
 

I haven't seen much action on our thread in a while, so maybe people will share info they have. Lambda Chi posted an expansion plan a couple years ago on the C&C but hasn't been forthcoming any new news since.

Planned expansions for Fall 2011 are: Florida Gulf Coast University, John Carroll University, and University of New Mexico, North Carolina State University.

I am so excited for the return of the NC State chapter!!

I know its early but does anyone know when the North Carolina State expansion is taking place or who I can contact? We're interested in road tripping depending on what time in the fall it is scheduled. Feel free to PM me anyone.

Their twitter just says August 2011 they will be on campus. ELC Vince Cain is facilitating expansion.

Spring Expansion
 

Lambda Chi will expanding to Virginia Commonwealth University, American University in DC, and Young Harris College in GA in Spring 2012.

Expansion at U of New Mexico went well. I attended the Rx as performed by NMSU for the guys at ABQ.

How many members did the UNM colony initiate?

In addition to these 3 expansions, Lambda Chi will recolonize at Indiana State University this Spring.

John, how are things going with Mu-Zeta, are they close to chartering?

My problem with IHQ is not letting us know what is going on either with expansion, rechartering, or closing!
Who, what, and why? Is that to much to ask?

Here's an article about the current expansion of Iota-Epsilon at Indiana State University.

Indiana State administration and student body are becoming more pro-greek. Lambda Chi Alpha is the third new chapter in three years following the return of Theta Chi and FIJI. The university is planning to build 8 large townhouses for greek organizations. There is also talk of a developer building new greek houses north of campus in a rezoned area. Lambda Chi should do very well on this campus. They are having a big event for the colony today. Hope someone can update us!

Lambda Chi will hold its first AM ceremony tomorrow for the new Virginia Commonwealth University Colony.
