Info packets for LOR...(Hope I am not beating a dead horse)
My daughter has done a very nice job on her packets that need to be sent to the local Panhellenic (she registered electronically but they ask for some "paper packets"). In these paper packets she put a blank stamped envelope and the addresses of all the houses at her University. (mainly because she did not know which alumna would get these packets). Does the alumna just send her letter or would she include the photographs, resume, transcript, etc? Just wonder if she has enough postage. I have written some RIFs but I just send the form but I saw on the envelope thread a tidbit about weight of envelopes and it got my wheels turning.

I always send pictures and the form only. The chapter will get the other information in their application from CPC so I don't bother sending it.

I do send along the resume with the MIS form. It is not required, but typically the pnm has more activities, awards, accomplishments, whatever, than can be listed on the ZTA MIS form and I feel that all that info gives the chapter more info to work with. If the pnm supplies me with a postage paid envelope, the cost of which does not cover the actual cost of postage, I either pony up for the extra cost or just use one of my own envelopes and save her envelope to use another time with a mailing label over the address. It's not like I am writing dozens of recs.

Thanks everyone. I will have her put on two stamps just in case.

That would be a good thing to do. I do send everything the PNM gives me - pictures, resume, transcript, so the envelope can get a little heavy.
