What to wear for Fall Recruitment?

Fall recruitment is just around the corner and I wanted to get a heads start on my outfits. I was looking at the universities website but they don't give much information about what to wear.

For Day One I already know what I'll wear, but for day two and three there wasn't much detail.

Day Two: This day is a little bit dressier than the first. Most women wear sundresses or a nice pair of slacks and a blouse.

Day Three: This day is the most dressy of Recruitment. You should wear a dress or skirt and blouse that you would wear to church or in any modest setting.

I feel like in both days I would wear similar outfits to church. Would Day three be more "cocktail" like but of course modest? What would be something OK to wear?-Thanks!

If you don't want to tell us the name of the school, can you at least give us the conference or area? Dressing for an SEC recruitment is a lot different than if you're going to Marquette.

Would you wear a cocktail dress to church? If you are quoting your college's recruitment website verbatim, and everyone follows those guidelines to a "T", then a cocktail dress would not be appropriate for the 3rd round. Your best bet would be to ask women in sororities at your school what is appropriate. If you don't know any sorority members ask your orientation leader when you go thru orientation.

Sometimes the Panhellenic council will start a facebook group for girls going thru recruitment and you could ask your questions there. The answers usually come from the recruitment counselors. So you can trust that what you are told is correct.

http://www.jenclothing.com Modest dresses (in no way benefit from this, just a modest dress site I like)

I think you should make sure your dress is cute and modest everyday. Don't worry about getting too dressy, just keep it classy!

Did I miss the thread where we decided that GC would be a great place for people who have no idea what they're talking about to give terrible advice ad nauseum? Cause there's sure a lot of that going on the past couple days.

How about this site for dresses? It was a definite hit in the Mods' Forum. www.myculottes.com

Regardless of where you go to school, I think it is always a safe bet to go a little dressier than the pictures on the recruitment website or what they describe. I think for your day three, just guessing, think derby more so than cocktail dresses!

katydidKD, thanks for the site - I'm always looking for new options for work dresses and some of those are super cute!

(Now I sound like an ad spammer. Oh well. They really are cute. I liked the "Zoe" dress in yellow!)

What university are you going to be at? This sounds exactly like the booklet I received.
