Perp Check?
 

My step sister is in college and has decided that she wants to become a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. She has asked our pastor's wife who is a member of the organization to write her a recommendation as her rush is this week. She agreed but said that she forgot her membership number. A member of my church who is a part of another NPHC came to me in private to tell me that she knows for a fact that the pastor's wife has been perpetrating (and has been for years) and is NOT a member of Delta Sigma Theta. Now I don't know any other Deltas so I'm wondering is there any way to check to make sure that a person is who they claim to be because I don't want this to ruin my step sister's opportunity. Thanks for all your anticipated help.

You said in the other thread that you applied for membership. How did you do that if you don't know any members?

The wonderful person who wrote my letter back in 1999 was a good friend of my family's who has since passed away. So no I don't know any Deltas.
