I'm surprised no one's started a thread about this show.

After weeks of previews and teasers I needed to know if the show really lived up to the hype. IMO, I think it did.

All were good singers...some were obviously better than others. After watching AI tonight, it was just MEH.

Thoughts?

I watched it. I enjoyed it as well.

I used to be a fan of Idol, but I think it's run its course. This seems to be a good alternative so far.

I'm more interested in what they do after the "chair turning" weeks.

Can you imagine if recruitment was done this way?

I didn't get to watch it, but I saw a couple clips on Hulu. Was there anyone that none of the judges turned around for?

Also, I don't like the vibe of the guy on the end (not Adam next to Cee Lo, the guy on the other end). Sort of just seems a little creepy and is always looking to see whether the other judges are going to turn.

There were a couple of people that the judges didn't turn for.

I think this is supposed to be the anti-Idol, though (they screened out the terrible singers before they appeared on TV), so there were more turns.

I liked it. It turned out better then I thought. I love the interaction between the coaches.

I think the whole "blind audition" thing is a complete farce. They're clearly screening out anyone truly hideous.

I think the whole thing is totally scripted, at least on the judges' end, but it is entertaining nonetheless.
