Well, I'll be dayumed ! !
Here I am, for the past nine months thinking that my best friend is having a baby girl and this heffa turns around and has a boy. And, she had him two weeks before the due date at that so I missed his birth ! ! !
But, I am glad to report that I have a beautiful, healthy godson. Born Friday, November 16, 2001 at 3:25 p.m. He weighs 6 pounds and 2 ounces!! I am so happy. I have a little bundle of joy!! http://plauder-smilies.de/love/ylinfant.gifThis is as close to motherhood as I want to be right now!! |
CONGRATULATIONS! I remember when my godson was born ~ I was thrilled, excited, and thankful that he was my first child ~GODCHILD! Which meant I could send him home :D! But seriously, for the 1st two years of his life I was always there. Now that I'm college I haven't spent a lot of time with him. I see him during the holidays.

Well, I'm glad he was born healthy! The same thing happened to one of my sister's friends. She had her baby's room decorated in pink because she was told her baby was a girl. Then, he was born!

That's what happened with me and my sister...the doctor said he was "sure" that the baby was a boy. I was so happy to have a litle brother. Then she came home :mad:

Well, at least he's healthy. You never know these days. Sometimes it's hard to tell on the sonogram whether one will have a boy or girl b/c sometimes the legs might be closed. I have 4 godchildren (3 girls and 1 boy). They are my angels and the air I breathe, and I try to keep in touch with them often. Their ages are 10, 9, 7 and 4. They're my best friend's children. They're all cute and all I do is remember their b'days and Christmas, since that's my main responsibility right now.
