First order of business for them should be to find someone new to write their press releases. Yeesh. I get that it's Facebook, but I think that the post was written by a "paid professional".

Probably written by a HQ professional, using their visual identity (branding). I don't see what's wrong with it.

And "Fall" with a lowercase "f".

Nitpicky, I know, but if you're getting paid for press releases, they should be correct.

Wait, there must be a typo here. You can't actually be in accordance with me, can you? ;)

I very recently learned that seasons are not capitalized unless they are being personified.

BUT it still looks weird in Greekdom because we always say things like Spring 03, Fall 07, etc.

They are being personified - they designate a pledge class. They also don't have an article in front of them.

"I pledged in the spring of 1994."

"He is Spring 1994 along with me."

I disagree. :) But I have seen a rule which allows for capitalization in that case. All sources don't agree, though.

Yep! Surely this must suggest the end of time is near!

straight from a Editing for Writers from Lois Johnson Rew: "Seasons are not capitalized. Unless being used in a title of a publication, the seasons (spring, summer, autumn, and winter) are not capitalized."

And we're taking capitalization advice from a user who doesn't even capitalize the first word of their sentence because........?
