Passing of an Alpha Phi....
Hi everyone, I just wanted to pass this along to other members of the Greek community...please keep this family in your thoughts. Not only have they gone through this awful loss, but the father was also shot in a raid not too long ago (he's a state trooper/US Marshall). I did not rush with Allison, but she was a beautiful and smart girl who went way before her time....

So sad. Young women should not suffer and die from cancer that young. :(
I'm glad she had loved ones surrounding her. |
Very sad to hear this. Rest in peace, sister...

Oh poor Allison. She seemed like a beautiful and intelligent young woman. May she rest in peace. Such a sad thing to happen. Truly unfair.

RIP Alpha Phi sister.

My prayers are with her family and her sisters. What a terrible loss.

I was already a member when Allison pledged, so I had the pleasure of knowing her for several years. It's been a terrible loss for our chapter and sisterhood that has hit a lot of people really hard.
I do have to say though how incredible it is that we all come together at a time like this. There's been talk of starting a scholarship fund, myself and other alumni sent flowers to the funeral home, and there was a memorial set up for her in front of the house and in our formal room. I heard from girls still at WVU that Sigma Chi and DG also sent flowers to the house, and many members of WVU Greek life expressed their condolences on facebook. It's nice that there is so much support for my Alpha Phi sisters during this sad time. |
