Can anyone help me with the sorority process?
 

When I find a sponsor for a sorority, do I give her an envelope with everything the sorority requires, such as pictures, social resume, transcript, etc.?

Also, when I ask someone to write a recommendation for me do I give her a social resume and picture also? And when and where can I sign up for the UPC at the University of Texas?

And sorry last question! Does anyone know the deadline for sponsors to mail the reference, recommendations, pictures, transcript, resume, etc. for the University of Texas?

I am a little concered that you 1) live in Houston and 2) plan to go to Texas, yet you claim that you know NO ONE who is a sorority member/alumna?

And this site, as well as the UT Greek Life site, is chalk-full of the answers that you are looking for. While it is good that you are thinking in terms of getting recs, I would strongly advise just reading this site for awhile, as well as contacting the Houston panhellenic that serves your high school. And quickly. It is possible that deadlines have passed.
