Mourning the Loss of an Alpha Gamma Delta
http://www.cnn.com/2011/US/03/22/jap...ex.html?hpt=C2
Today, we mourn the loss of our sister Taylor Anderson, Theta Zeta-Randolph-Macon College alumna. Taylor had been teaching for more than two years in Japan as a part of an exchange program. Please keep Taylor’s family, friends and the members of Alpha Gamma Delta~ Theta Zeta Chapter in your thoughts and prayers. She was swept away while riding her bicycle after making sure her students got to their families. The link to a CNN interview with Theta Zeta sisters. |
What a tragic loss!

I hope her family and sisters find some comfort in the strength of character she exhibited in her last hours. What an inspiration and true embodiment of Alpha Gamma Delta's mission - "Inspire the woman. Impact the world." May light perpetual shine upon her.

My sincere sympathies to her family & sisters.

Thoughts and prayers are coming from her sisters in Denver, CO. What a tragic loss.

I did not know she was an AGD. My condolences go to all her sisters, as well as to her family and other friends.

When I first heard this, I was out of town. A co-worker is from the Richmond area and he was talking about how hard it hit the town. It wasn't until yesterday that I realized she was an Alpha Gam. My heart goes out to all who knew her. She died a true hero.

Alpha Gamma Deltas will wear our Badge on March 31st to honor Taylor.
