Sad News: Passing of an Auburn Alpha Chi Omega Member
 

My condolences to Ms Foshee's family, Alpha Chi sisters, and friends.

This second death of an Auburn student in the last few days must be hitting the Auburn community -- and maybe especially its Greek community -- hard.

Tragic spring break: AU loses second student

Auburn University lost a second student during 2011 Spring Break. She is Jessica Lynn Foshee, 20, an AU sophomore from Roswell, Ga.

A member of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority, Foshee was found unresponsive by her boyfriend about 10 p.m. Saturday. . . .

According to a press release from APD, there were no signs of foul play. . . . , the case remains under investigation . . . .

I read it on AJC yesterday, but could not post at GC from work.

So sad. She truly was a strong and courageous woman. My condolences go to her A Chi O sisters, as well as her family and other loved ones.
