Coming Home

Has anyone seen this show? It's on lifetime and I'm watching it now and it's almost impossible not to cry once during this show. It's a show about families reuniting with those deployed in the military and they have these big surprise reunions, for those who haven't seen it. It is definitely worth checking out :)

I shed tears watching military-family reunions on the news and when military people are on the plane that I'm traveling in.

I thought about this show and decided I don't want to cry right now. I'm sure it will aire over and over again. I'll catch it when I feel like crying. :)

I watched the first episode. The reunion at the end of the show at Medieval Times was pretty cool. And when the soldier took off his helmet and his son said "daddy" when he realized who it was, I lost it.

I imagine I'll react the same way when my brother gets home from Iraq :)

That's the one I was watching and it was so great they could do that for the little boy. I lost it during the football player on signing day when his dad came home. Guys crying really get to me and I don't really know why. When your brother gets back, ohh that will be so exciting. I couldn't even imagine how I would feel

I positively hate my husband for finding this touching show. I blubber like a baby every episode.

So someone made a show based on those youtube compilations of troops returning home? Genius. Although if you really want to cry, the one where it's all about them coming home to their dogs is somehow the best.

that show reminds me of my dad. how excited i used to get so excited when he'd come home. though he was never deployed, he lived on base in NC and i lived in michigan.

although I do agree that they aren't the first one's to initiate big surprises like that. My dad used to surprise me every time he came to see me. Just because it has been so long and them showing up unexpected is a surprise in itself.
